Understanding the Ocean

The largest amount of the planet is covered by water, our oceans being not only vast in their surfaces but also far below us. The ocean truly is in every aspect, an alien environment. If we were made to withstand extremes of cold, dark, pressure, and breathe underwater, the land and mountains would be alien to us. The Ocean in a way, is akin to that of space. There are so many intricacies scientifically to behold and learn about the deep, but is there also a higher sense of understanding of the Ocean to be sought out, perhaps in the form of a oneness. Our co-existence with the Ocean over time has changed, but now perhaps we can push these boundaries. Over the course of the next few months I want to investigate this by generating images that might help explain/personify the emotions surrounding the mysteries of the deep. Stay tuned you lovely sharks.
